Chimney Sweep & Inspections

A Summit Sweeps technician conducts a thorough cleaning of the wood burning appliance, flue and chimney assembly to remove any creosote to reduce the risk of a fire. In addition, we provide a detailed and in-depth inspection report covering current or future potential hazards.  The report also assesses any deterioration of the system from inside and outside of the property by utilizing state-of-the-art video inspection equipment when necessary.  Technicians will also examine the location of safety devices to reduce the risk of exposure to smoke inhalation, carbon monoxide poisoning, and fire. 

Dryer Vent Cleaning & Inspections

A Summit Sweeps technician cleans and removes any blockages or lint buildups within the vent system as well as lint caught in the dryer. The inspection will also evaluate the existing venting to ensure that it has been designed and installed properly and operating correctly. Keeping up with dryer vent maintenance improves efficiency and reduces the risk of fire and wasted electricity.
